QR Code Generator

Make a QR code in seconds for your shop’s UPI payments, your website, your Wi-Fi network or your contact details. Codes are created in your browser, never expire and are free for any use.

Colours & error correction

Test the code with your phone camera before printing. Keep strong contrast between colours.

Runs entirely in your browser – nothing you enter is uploaded.

How to use the QR Code Generator

  1. Choose what the QR code should do: open a link, accept a UPI payment, join Wi-Fi, call a phone, send an email or show text.
  2. Fill in the details. The QR code updates as you type.
  3. Optionally change the colours and error-correction level.
  4. Download as PNG for sharing or SVG for sharp printing at any size.

Worked example: A UPI QR code for your shop

Enter your UPI ID (for example yourshop@okbank) and your shop name. Leave the amount empty so customers can type any amount.

Download the PNG, print it and place it at your counter. Any UPI app – Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM – can scan it.

Printing tips

For reliable scanning:

  • Print at least 2 × 2 cm for close scanning and larger for posters.
  • Use dark code on a light background – inverted colours confuse many scanners.
  • Choose a higher error-correction level (Q or H) if the code may get scratched or dirty.
  • Always test scan the printed code with two different phones.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static QR codes that store the content directly, so they work forever and need no account.

Is the UPI QR code safe?

The code only contains your UPI ID, name and optional amount, as in the standard upi://pay format. Customers still confirm the payment with their UPI PIN.

Can I use the QR code commercially?

Yes. You can use the codes on products, menus, visiting cards and posters for free.

PNG or SVG – which should I download?

PNG works everywhere for sharing. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which is best for professional printing.
